I think my brother and sister-in-law’s dog is the cutest ever. Merry Christmas, everyone!
I really love the rain. When I was in New York in May 2008, it gave me a lot of peace to walk in the rain. The city seemed to quiet to the sound of the rain.

Looks like the rain I experienced in New York has finally hit the Bay Area.
It’s funny how a specific event occurred recently, then the rain started pouring immediately. Seven months ago the same event also occurred and the rain also started pouring immediately. It’s as if God is physically displaying the spiritual cleansing occurring in my heart. Interesting.
I went on this bike adventure called, “Moving Photography”. The concept behind it was… take a bike ride around San Francisco, stop and take pictures as you go. I thought to myself, “I’ve ridden a bike once since I was a kid. I think I’ll be alright.” The disclaimer said… “Easy 20 mile bike ride around San Francisco, some hills, but shouldn’t be a big deal.” Boy, it really took a lot out of me to bike that. It was a hard bike ride, but I finished all 20 miles. I didn’t quit! Yay. It was a great trip!!! I can’t wait to do it again.

Having a fancy camera often makes me the designated family-picture-taker. (Although my sister Meredith is the much better photographer… she knows a lot more than I do) So, with my eldest sister and her family, this was no exception. I’m thankful for any opportunity to shoot portraits, so I was more than happy to shoot their Christmas family portraits.
Although these pictures weren’t exactly my style (candids and more relaxed), I think these pictures came out very well. Aren’t my sister and her family super cute?!
